ATTENDANCE POLICY 

Regular attendance is an essential component of every course. New course material, as well as review and assignments, are covered on a daily basis. Responsibility for attendance rests with students and their parents/guardians. 

Students who are ill and unable to attend classes should have a parent/guardian call the school before 8:25 a.m. or after lunch for afternoon absences. Alternately, students under 18 may bring a note from a parent to the Attendance Office, Room 142 specifying the date(s) of absence. Notes are kept on file. It is your responsibility to account for every absence promptly.  Failure to do so will result in the absence being considered unexcused and will result in disciplinary action.
