Any student can join.

Students can bring their lunch.

One week we talk about the books we are reading, one week we watch a movie, and one week we read manga on-line.

For Halloween, students dressed up like CosPlay.

On December 18th, the last Friday before our holiday we will have a pizza party.

White Pine Book Club

Meets the first Tuesday of the month in the Library in Lab 3. This is a fun club where members read new Canadian books. There are 10 chosen each year. At each meeting two books will be showcased. The first meeting is December 1 2009. Ms. Evans will be introducing the club and talking about Wondrous Strange and The Landing. There are small prizes for every book read. Students will be able to comment on the books they have read on a wiki and in 2nd semester students will be able to have a book club meeting by podcast with students from Ursula Franklin, Parkdale Collegiate and Humberside.
