Western Tech offers the most comprehensive and diverse program in Toronto’s west end.

This includes a large variety of courses in all the traditional subject areas like English, Math, Science, Business, Canadian & World Studies, The Arts, Languages, Family Studies, Computer Science and Phys Ed.

We also offer a host of other programs in areas of Technological Studies that complement and enhance a student’s high school experience and profile. These areas are: CyberARTS, Engineering/Robotics, Digital Media, Computer Studies, Hospitality/Tourism, Manufacturing, and Transportation.

These programs are generally unavailable at most high schools and provide rich, practical skills and knowledge that Western students can bring to their future university, college, and workplace destinations.

Programs Overview

ACCESSING WESTERN’S PROGRAMS:

Western’s regular academic and technological programs are accessible to all students who reside in our official catchment area. To find out if you are “in-area”, visit the TDSB Street Guide and enter your street location. Even if you’re not in-area, you may still be able to access our programs through Optional Attendance, where you provide early notice of your program interest (usually by the beginning of February) and Western will determine whether or not there is enough space for you to join that program.
